Cancellation Policy

• Each reservation is considered valid when accompanied by a successful payment.  
• For any questions, modification or cancellation of your tickets, please contact us in time (at least 48 hours before the start of the event) at: events@yachtingmates.com
• In case of cancellation, having already paid the total price of each ticket (either basic, deluxe or premium), the amount corresponding to the advance payment per ticket (i.e. 25.5€) will be blocked, while the remaining amount will be returned to the same account from which it was credited from the beginning.
• In case of cancellation of a reservation with deposit only, the refund will not be possible. 
• In case of bad weather and any inability to hold the event, the money will be returned to the same account from which it was credited from the beginning or alternatively -at your option- will be used in the next YachtingMates event.

For participation in YachtingMates events:

• Participation is strictly limited to adults only. Identification with a legal document, such as an identity card, by the organizational staff is considered mandatory for the entry of the guests. It is the customer’s responsibility to provide accurate details during the checkout process. Access could be denied in case of mismatch of details.
• Please be at the event site 30 minutes before the start of the event. The boat will depart exactly at the scheduled time.
• Participation is strictly limited to persons who declare that they have sufficient swimming ability. YachtingMates is not responsible for any swimming related decisions, e.g. diving under the boat, swimming under the influence of alcohol, drugs or even on a full stomach.
• Participation is strictly limited to people who are committed to responsible consumption of alcoholic beverages. YachtingMates is not responsible for any excessive consumption of alcohol and for any act and/or result that may accompany it.
• If you or any other person on board is unwell, speak to a member of staff immediately.
• Participation is strictly limited to persons who are committed to comply directly with the instructions of the crew and organizational staff of the event. Otherwise, YachtingMates reserves all legal rights to remove the person in question and contact the relevant authorities.
• Swimming or diving from the boat is prohibited when the boat is in motion or not anchored.
• Swimming in the marina is prohibited.
• Pets are not allowed on board.
• In case of contact with a wild animal while swimming, do not approach or disturb it.
• Do not carry explosives, flammable, incendiary and generally dangerous materials on board.
• Avoid carrying bulky luggage and do not block the aisles of the boat with it.
• It is strictly forbidden to dump any kind of waste in the sea, on the beaches or in the marina and we strongly encourage recycling.
• Passengers should not travel if they have symptoms of a (viral) infection such as COVID-19 (cough, runny nose, fever, sore throat, shortness of breath and other respiratory symptoms) or if they have been in contact with a COVID-19 patient in the 14 days prior to travel.
